What a SpecSuccess setup includes

  • Install SpecSuccess to your Salesforce org for Project & Lunch & Learn CEU functionality
  • Configure Account and Contact page layouts to include SpecSuccess information
  • Set up standard email templates for each SpecSuccess function, editable by your admin for text updates
  • Import your Product Brand data and Lunch & Learn list (if lengthy)
  • Set up the AI model for 1 Product Brand as an example for best practices
  • Integrate your project database (Dodge, ConstructConnect, IIR)
  • Install the 3 SpecSuccess dashboards, with supporting reports
  • Add Construction Projects to your Outlook setup for manual activity logging
  • Two hours of basic training

What requires separate/additional scope

  • Customization of SpecSuccess to fit processes not built into the package, or additional automations
  • Fully custom-built email templates beyond standard text edits
  • Basic Salesforce administrative setup for best practices, other than what’s included in the package
  • Data cleanup / migration
  • Remapping or reconfiguration of legacy lead or opportunity processes
  • Populating Opportunity fields with data pulled from Projects
  • Customization of reports and dashboards
  • Automated territory assignment of Projects, Accounts, or Contacts (via Maps or other method)
  • Setup or modification of database searches (Dodge, ConstructConnect, etc.)
  • Outlook configuration modifications beyond sync to Projects

Preparation to complete on your own in advance of implementation starting

  • Generate a list of all the products you’ll be searching for
  • Make sure your source database searches (Dodge, ConstructConnect) are configured to match each of those
  • For products you anticipate issuing substitution requests for:
    • Build a list of every competitor — company name and brand name — you expect to find in specifications
    • For each of your own products to substitute, identify the documentation a specifier would need to consider your substitution request complete, and link to those documents in a spreadsheet
